To seduce potential clients, JEMA wanted to truly make their workshops and offices theirs with new signage and decor, not only to look more polished but also be useful to the team.

With limited existing design, we were able to build an extension of the JEMA branding applicable to signage and graphics across all mediums. After studying the flows and masterplan, the project was to guide visitors through the whole building with key points of interest receiving special graphics. From the outside signage, to the naming of the meeting rooms all the way down to inspirational messages in the cafetaria, the JEMA building feels united with a consistent visual language.

Being energy-transformation experts, the workers showed us electrical diagrams they were working on. This sparked the idea to use these diagrams as a visual system for the signage and graphics.

The use of perforated metals was chosen to accentuate the inherent industrial look of the workshop.

Seeing the joy from the workers actually being represented through their work on electrical diagrams was solid confirmation that this was the direction to go. The new system blends in perfectly and looks like it has always been there.
